After you told me there was the FBX fix in this current update and pointed out the beta I figured the same thing yesterday, since the beta's doesn't overwrite your current public release version why not update the old 4.9 beta and went via the DIM. So my plugin for Alembic Exporter would have been a version for the 4.9+ and updates after the Official Public 4.9 and may have excluded the pre release beta version I was using.
